Staff did not seem interested. Not good value for money. Breakfast was poor with it presented on reception counter in Tupperware containers and no where to sit. Not recommended, plenty of other places in area to try.
The staff was extremely nice and very welcoming. They were quick to lend suggestions for dining and to make sure that everything was satisfactory.
It isn't so much as we didn't like it but more of a very slight inconvenience. They offer a continental breakfast but it is set up on the front desk counter and don't have a sitting area to eat at. It isn't a problem if you are just grabbing something to go or going to take it back to your room to eat.
The staff was friendly and helpfull.
The room #217 smelled like cat urin, the roof ceiling had a leak that they were catching in a bucket, the carpet was wet 3' to 4' out away from the wall. Looked like mold or mildew growing on ceiling. Your next question asks if I would recomend 1st Choice, I would say yes if this was an isolated case. I was just not happy with that room.
Room was clean, comfortable and quiet. Bathroom was fine and shower were fine. Breakfast was served on the service desk, but was plentiful and included hot waffles, toast and fruit. Had to take breakfast to our room, as there was no breakfast tables - no problem for us, Gave us great start to the day. Only stayed one night, but would use is again if we stop in Rawlins.
Our stay was very good for the price, though some other people complained about cleanness.
Bed was comfortable.
There was no-one at front desk upon check in after 10 minute wait, had to call hotel to tell them we were waiting to check in. There was no refridgerator or ash trays in room as stated on booking confirmation, had to request these items. There were 2 queens size beds 1 chair, but only 2 bath towels and 2 hand towels, 2 washclothes and empty box of kleenex. Had to request a new box of kleenex at front desk. Floor was not vacuumed total length of stay, Unsure if sheets were changed or just reused. By far the worst accomodations ever experienced.
Clean sheets and warm blankets
Location, no amenities, noisy, cleanliness. Will never return.
It was a last resort
Old, worn out, noisy uninviting
I would never stay here again or recommend it. The walls are poorly insulated and we heard everything around us.
Good value for money. Clean was clean and had fridge and microwave as well. Breakfast was simple but good.
Being located along major highway, noise of passing trucks could be a slight issue for those who are sensitive to noise. But you will find most motels/ hotels in Rawlins to be fairly close to a highway one way or another.
It was easy to fine, with a clean, comfortable room with enough blankets to feel warm at night. Staff was friendly and helpful
Room had a microwave and refrigerator
Bathroom walls were dirty, the door was damaged, most likely by a dog that had been kept in it. I could smell the carpet cleaning chemicals.
Nice people and they did put on a reasonble self serve breakfast. Room was quite clean.
Very clean hotel. The front desk staff were friendly, very helpful & kind, professional. Itt had a very warm and welcoming feeling of comfort once we walked inside the building. It was very nice to have a fridge and microwave.
When you approach the building, it looked closed down, very dark. You had to drive around to the side before you could tell it was a motel. Didn't have good curb appeal.
We've had to go to Rawlins a couple different times on business, and it was a nice comfortable place for us to spend the night while we were there. The beds were comfortable, everything was clean, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful, and the wi-fi connection was fast. We intend to stay again if we go back to Rawlins.
We had a non smoking room but the smoking rooms were across the hall and the wind was blowing our way from there room..... There was a dirty towel still in the bathroom...
